Ronald Kolling Obituary
March 12, 1945 - March 23, 2026
Ronald Kolling, age 81, passed away while in Hospice Care after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, to his parents, Stella and Woodrow Kolling. Ron was proud to have lived in Point Place his whole life. He attended the Macomber High School and went on to serve in the Navy aboard the USS Wasp and Champlain. During his service, he helped retrieve the Mercury and Apollo space capsules. Ron was a longtime member of the Placer's Hot Rod Car Club and enjoyed traveling to car shows. Ron also volunteered at the Liberty Air Museum in Port Clinton restoring a PT 728 boat.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stella and Woody Kolling; and his brother, Daniel. Surviving are his wife, Margaret; his children, Glynis, Nathaniel and Amanda Kolling; and grandchildren, Alec Kolling and Addison Bargy.
A Celebration of Life will be on April 11th, at 2:00 p.m., at the RiverPoint Ministries, 2862 131st, Toledo, Ohio. Online remembrances may be directed to the Cremation Society of Toledo.
