Ronald Lynn “Dutch”
Ronald Lynn “Dutch” Langenderfer, 65, passed away at home surrounded by his family on March 21, 2016. He was born on August 14, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio to Richard Lee “Dick” and Margaret Marie “Peggy” (Harbauer) Langenderfer, and married Elaine Ann (Kindell) Langenderfer on October 1, 1983.

He also enjoyed the great outdoors including camping, hiking, golf, trap shooting, and archery. Dutch was also an excellent billiards player (somewhat of a hustler in his youth), an avid aviation enthusiast and pilot as well as a loving and dutiful family man.
Dutch was preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Peggy and is survived by his loving wife, Elaine and three admiring children, Rebecca “Becky” (Nick) Fahim, Patrick (Dani) Langenderfer and John (Natalie) Langenderfer. To the Langenderfer Family,
I send my deepest sympathy and condolences. Our families lived a block apart in grade school, yours on Wyndale, ours on Claredale. Ronald was in my grade school class for 8 years. He went to Central, I went to Notre Dame, and then we moved from the neighborhood, so we lost track of each other. I am happy to hear of his success. A lot of success stories came out of the class of '64 at Blessed Sacrament. I pray that peace finds you in his passing. I wish I had seen the obit sooner, I would have come.

Dutch, you helped me along the way and straightened me out occasionally. Thanks for helping with the Scouting programs. I will miss your clever wit and sound advise. I will miss you but have comfort knowing that you no longer hurt. You fought a good fight and I hope I have your courage when it is my time to greet the Lord. I already miss you and I miss the good times already. God Bless you and keep you in the palm of His hand.

You went along with all the dumb ideas we did as kids, but we all survived

Love always. Please save a place for me at the euchre table.

Dutch, No man has ever been a truer friend than you were to me! You were always there for me when I needed someone to talk to. You set a great example of what a great husband and father looked like. You faced multiple health issues during your life but they never slowed you down or dimmed your positive outlook on life. I learned a lot about persistence by watching you!
Our loss is heaven`s gain

My memories of Dutch are that of another brother. He was always good to me when I was little and will be missed by many, including me.

Brother Dutch,

You fought a good fight and will always be remembered, as the guy who always plays by the rules. No interpretation, just the printed words.

You were my center at Central as I was the quarterback. I could always count on being protected by you. You have the tenacity to see it through.

Growing up we did not always see eye to eye, but managed to work things out, sometimes we were both not satisfied with the outcome, but got on with life.

We did a lot of things together as brothers did when growing up. Sandlot baseball, football was always there for us. Playing organized football for Dad was a plus. Your 6th grade team was a Toy Bowl championship team and you anchored the middle very soundly.

Bother I will miss you very much and keep you in my prayers always.

We will someday get together again and stay the course.

Brother Bob
