Ronald Theiss Obituary

Ronald Theiss, Sr. April 9, 2025

In Loving Memory of Ronald Theiss, Sr.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ronald "Ron" Theiss, Sr. on April 9, 2025, at the age of 82. An avid outdoorsman, Ron found great joy in hunting and fishing. He also held a lifelong passion for the art of making a deal - a talent he practiced with charm.

Ron was a proud and skilled millwright, dedicating many years to his craft as a member of the Carpenters Union, contributing to numerous projects throughout his career.

Ron was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Donna; his youngest son, Jeff; his parents; siblings, James (Betty), Kenneth, and Florence (John). He is lovingly remembered by his sons, Brian, David (Effi), and Ronald "Ron," Jr. (Heather); his brother, Richard "Rick" (Debbie); cherished grandchildren, Samantha "Sam", Chyna, Sabrina, Taryn, Cameron, and Brett, along with Shaun and Edwin; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and his great-grandchildren.

The family also extends heartfelt thanks to Kathleen "Kathy" Johnson, Ron's devoted companion of his later years, for her care, friendship, and love; and Ron's niece, Shellie Theiss, for her support and devotion through the end.

Ron's celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., at VFW Post 606, on 3005 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo, OH.
