Rosemarie BENGELA Obituary

BENGELA Rosemarie A. Rosemarie Bengela, 83, of Toledo, passed away on May 7, 2011, at Parkcliffe Community Care. She was born on October 27, 1927, to Frank and Stephany (Walkowicz) Szymanski in Toledo. Rosemarie was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church where she also was a past teachers aide and student assistant. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, ceramics, gardening and her beloved dog, Clifford. Rosemarie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rudolph; grandson, Kevin Bengela; sister, Carol Urbaniak; and her parents. She will be dearly missed by her sons, Martin (Sue), John and Greg Bengela; daughters, Maryellen McCullough, Colette Keil and Camille Bengela; brother, Jerry Szymanski; 9 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on Monday, May 16, 2011, with Mass of Christian Burial at Little Flower Church at 10:00am. where family and friends will be received after 9 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. The family would like to express a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Flower Hospital, Heartland of Perrysburg, and especially the staff and family members at Parkcliffe Community Care and Heartland Hospice for all of their compassionate care and support.
