Rudolph Lewinski Obituary
Rudolph Charles "Rudy" Lewinski, age 69, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 27, 1949 in Toledo, OH to Clarence and Mary Jane (Savage) Lewinski. Rudy was a graduate of Sylvania High School and Veteran of the US Marine Corps. He was owner of Rudy's Fleet Tire Service on Matzinger Rd. as well as owner and operator of ARV Outdoor Storage. As self-employed, he offered 24 hour roadside service for 25 years, retiring in 2014. Rudy was a big fan of Rush Limbaugh and the NRA. A loving husband and father, he enjoyed spending time with family. He was a longtime parishioner St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
Rudy is survived by his wife, Anna (Simpkins) Lewinski; children, Melissa (Russell) Montgomery and Rudolph Lewinski II; grandchildren, Jackson, Lucy, Maggie, Rebecca, and Nathan; brothers, Clarence (Diane) and Harry (Connie) Lewinski; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Richard Lewinski.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd., with praying of the rosary at 4 p.m. Funeral services will begin on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in St. Catherine of Siena Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial tributes may be given to ProMedica Hospice or St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Condolences may be shared with the family at
