Ruperto Buno Obituary
Ruperto H. "Pertz" Buno, 69, of Toledo, returned into the arms of his Savior Wednesday, November 23, 2022. He was born in Talisay, Batangas, Philippines on March 27, 1953 to the late Marianito and Maria (Hernandez) Buno.
Pertz immigrated to the United States in 1977. He worked at Kern Leibers, Reichert Stamping, Spherion and retired from Neovia Logistics in 2015. He loved spending time with family, gambling, fishing, eating vanilla ice cream and DIY home projects. His good looks, hilarious antics and legendary stories put a smile on everyone's face. Pertz will be forever loved and cherished by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marianito and Maria (Hernandez) Buno; and sister, Flor (Lito) Mendoza. Pertz leaves behind his wife, Ammie M. Buno; sons, Samuel and Rupert Buno; daughters, Alicia and Julia Fox, Marianne (Chris) Daretzes and Sarah Buno; grandchildren, Cecilia Stelzer, Alexander and Joseph Daretzes and Laila Branham; brothers, Rolando (Ging), Eladio (Ligaya), Digno (Melissa), Fred (Myla), Peter (Lottie); sisters, Lita (Rene) Zambrano, Nene (Romeo) Flores; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900) where Memorial Services will begin Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
