I hold fond memories of Mrs. Grove at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. I grew up in that church and Mrs. Grove always had a kind word or deed to extend.
Rest in Peace, Mrs. Grove.

Family,
God promised that He would never leave you nor forsake you so take courage during this season that He will provide the strength you need to get through this time. You have such a great legacy in the memories, example, and teachings of Sis. Sadie Grove. Find peace in the fact that she is resting with her Savior.
Yours in Christ,

Her Journey's Just Begun: Don't think of her as gone away, her journey's just begun, life holds so many facets this earth is only one. Just think of her as resting from the sorrow and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort, where there are no days and years. Think how she must be wishing that we could know today, how nothing but our saddness can really pass away. And think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched, for nothing loved is ever lost, and she was loved so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow, just know that God won't put no more on you than you can bear. Love ya

Sadie will be greatly missed. She was always a help to me on Usher board #2. She would stay at church for the second service to make sure that we had enough ushers to cover our doors. There were many Sundays she stayed to help me and I really loved her for that. She was always a joy to be around. My condolences to her family. I will always cherish having known her.

We will miss our Aunt Sadie. There was nobody like her. She touched so many people's lives and she was passionate about her God, her family, her frinds and life's work.
I talked to her just a couple of weeks ago and her demeanor was very encouraging. She asked how we were doing and said she anted to get better so she could visit us here in Cincinnati. She talked about how good God is, and the fact that the church was taking good care of her, even though she had not been able to attend personally. I hung up encouraged, thankful that I was able to talk to her and that she was in good spirits.
Today, we are still thankful because she is with God. Her hope is now realized, and she is at rest in peace. My prayers remain with our family during this time of loss. I pray for peace and understanding, and that her example in life causes us to examine ourselves and follow suit.
She will not soon be forgotten. Her love and presence will be missed, but her touch, influence and creed will live on.
