Sandra Ruch Obituary

Sandra Marie Ruch

1949 - 2025

Sandra Marie Ruch, age 75, of Delta, Ohio, passed away on April 7, 2025, in the comfort of her home. Sandy was born on June 1, 1949, in Toledo, Ohio, to Mary and Ralph Kerner. She was a dental assistant for 30 years at her brother-in-law's office, retiring in 2017.

Sandy loved all of the holidays but Christmas was her absolute favorite. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved feeding the birds, deer and squirrels. Sandy had a special place in her heart for Indian dolls and Wilderness figurines. There wasn't a garage sale that she couldn't pass up and many times took her grandchildren with her to explore the treasures to be found.

She is survived by her siblings, Pam Kerner, Debbie (Jerry) Knierim and Roger (Sherri) Kerner; son, Tommy Ward; daughter, Denise (Brian) Weis; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 nephews and 1 niece. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter, Lena Ann.

Private graveside services were held at Toledo Memorial Park.
