Sarah Elizabeth (Beidleman) Keller

Sarah Elizabeth (Beidleman) Keller passed away unexpectedly on February 16th at the young age of 45. She was born to Tom Beidleman and Kathy Taraschke on August 13, 1977; and although she was an only child, Sarah grew up in a West Toledo neighborhood filled with members of her large extended family of grandparents, aunts, uncles and many cousins, which framed her childhood. She attended Christ The King School and eventually graduated from Sylvania Southview High School in 1996.

After attending Baldwin Wallace University for 3 years as a Theater Arts Major, Sarah fulfilled a life long dream to study abroad at the American College in Ireland. Upon her return, she worked as an STNA at ProMedica and West Park Place caring for others. In 2021, she returned to Dublin, Ireland to pick up her studies for another semester, in the place that she loved most.

Sarah was a unique combination of an old soul with a youthful, silly spirit. She was kind and creative; and loved the beautiful things in nature. She loved art. She loved flowers. She loved the ocean. She loved animals, and she loved to create things like hand-knitted scarves and colorful art work which she displayed or gave away as gifts. Sarah also loved movies and music, and spent a lot of time enjoying her vintage vinyl record collection. Her first crush was Elvis Presley, and she played his records often.

Nothing made Sarah happier than being around friends and family- laughing about old stories from childhood; and these will be the memories we hold onto and cherish most.

Sarah was preceded in death by her Grandparents James and Veryl Velker; aunt, Karen Velker, Grandparents, Roy and Phyllis Beidleman, aunt Patty Beidleman, and her Father, Tom Beidleman. She was the Apple of Tom's eye, and losing him unexpectedly in 2015 left an ache in her heart that would never subside.

She is survived by her loving and supportive mother and stepfather, Kathy and Doc Taraschke, step-siblings Shelly (Kevin) Meek, Mike Taraschke; niece, Holleigh Reed; and nephew, Kiowa Taraschke; Uncles, Mike Velker, Steve (Gaither) Velker, Bill (Debbie) Velker, Chris (Christine) Velker and "The Velker cousins," Courtney, Jami, Matthew, Casey, Christi, Erin, Kelly, Katie, Andy, Danny, Nathan, Betsy, Daniel, Michael, Thomas, and Joseph, along with their spouses and children.

Although she struggled, Sarah had hopes and dreams of a life free of her burdens, and she was working hard toward the goals she set for herself. She was a brave warrior, who always tried to help others along the way, and she will be greatly missed.
