Scott Douglas
Scott Douglas Wyman, age 39, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 5, 2014. Scott was born May 10, 1975, in Augusta, Maine to Gail Obliske and Don Russell.
Scott enjoyed fishing in Maine and family gatherings. He played football in Junior High, and was an avid sports fan, enjoying The Lakers and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He had a passion for working out and cooking, but most of all was the time spent with family that he enjoyed the most. Scott was a skilled tradesman as a union painter.
He is survived by his mother, Gail Obliske; step-father, Chuck Obliske; father, Don Russell; children, Kyle Reid, Hunter Wyman, Marah Whitson, Scott Wyman-Barnes and Presley Wyman; fiancée, Tiffany Sterger; daughter, Tara; brother, David Bedrin; sister, Kelly Russell; nephews, Donovan and Kamden; nieces, Anniyah and Taylor and many other relatives in Maine.
The family will be receiving friends in the Urbanski Funeral Home 5055 Secor Rd Toledo, Ohio (Near Laskey), 419-475-5055, on Friday, June 13, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be Saturday in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Burial will be private. Online condolences can be shared at

Although our friendship didn't span the longest time, it was awesome while it lasted. It was a great experience to grow up with ya during those influential years buddy. Although we'd see each other here and there later on, we never had the chance to relive those fun old days. But I hope you are able to relive all your best days now. Good memories, gone but not forgotten.

We are so sorry of Scott's passing. This is going to be a very difficult time for you and your family. The most important thing to remember is your family and friends will help you and your family to get through this very difficult time. It has been ten years since Donnie passed away and I think of him every day. We should not have to bury our children. Parents never expect to outlive their children and no one could possibly know how your feeling right now unless they also have been through it. Thinking of you and your family at this very difficult time.
