Shannon BLACK Obituary

BLACK Shannon L. Shannon L. Black, age 42, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 8, 2011. He was born on December 17, 1968, in Toledo, Ohio, to the parents of Maxwell and Wilma Jean (Brewer) Black. Shannon enjoyed the outdoors, loved spending time with family and friends and was employed for many years in the Plating and Polishing business. He was a man of Christian faith who had a kind heart, great sense of humor and always brought a smile to those around him. The memories we have all shared with Shannon will be cherished. He is loved dearly and will be missed by so many. He is survived by his sons Glenn Lee and Aaron Porter Black; two grandchildren; brothers, Brian, John, Mark and Steve Black; sisters, Debbie, Helen, Kim, Linda, Regina, Shawn, Sherry, Theresa and Tina Black; along with numerous nieces, nephews; which include Stacy Bernal, and also numerous great nieces and nephews, as well as many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maxwell Black and Wilma Jean (Brewer) Black; brother, David Black; sisters, Patty and Brenda Black. Family and friends may join to celebrate Shannon's memory on Wednesday, April 13, from 12-4p.m. at Purse Funeral home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy (M-52) in Adrian, MI (517)265-2300.

Uncle Shannon: I am going to miss you dearly. I may have never met you but i wish i could have. I wish i could have known how great of an uncle you were. Our first meet may not be in reality but at the Golden Gates of Heaven. I love you much. By the way, you have some wonderful nieces and and great nieces and nephews that have never gotten to see you either. They love you though. I do as well. I love you Uncle Shannon.

I love you Shannon and I will miss your smile your endurance and your inspiration for life you are an angel now.
