Shirley Drube Obituary
After a long, full life, Shirley Drube, 97, of Broadview Heights, OH, died on January 9, 2024. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marvin. Dear mother of Cynthia (Bernard) Bujakowski, Philip (Kaela Willey) Drube and Janice (Barry) Broutman; grandmother of Douglas (Chrissy Culek) Bujakowski, Jessica (Jon Hornyak) Bujakowski and Lucas Drube; great-grandmother of Hudson Bujakowski.
Shirley was born in Detroit, MI, to Herman and Edith Rappoport, married Marvin in 1955, and lived in Toledo, OH, most of her life. She worked at Toledo Hospital, was a bookkeeper, and later an office clerk at Toledo Municipal Court. She was famous for her annual back-dive at Lincolnshire swimming pool, loved to travel, read, and especially sing. She will be remembered dearly by family and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024, Beth Shalom Cemetery, Oregon OH.
