Shirley Tupman Obituary
Shirley A. Tupman, 76, of Findlay, formerly of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. She was born in Toledo, OH to Frank and Dorthy (Whalen) Lynn on March 22nd, 1945. She married her loving husband Leroy Tupman in 1962, who preceded her in death in 2015. Before his passing Shirley and Leroy were known in the CB Radio world as "Daisey Mae" and "Apple Jack". Shirley was a kind soul who loved spending time with her family at home. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, especially those she cared for. She loved to go shopping for the biggest floppy hats she could find and cozy sweaters, even in the summer! Before shopping she loved to stop and get Taco Bell, powdered donuts, french fries, popcorn or little caesars, and wash it all down with a Coke. On her way to go shopping she loved to jam out and dance to many popular and timeless classic rock tunes. She always loved classical music too, and had always aspired to play the violin. While she did not learn how to play the violin, she lived her passion of music through her grandchild Mikayla who played the trumpet, and was an avid supporter of everything musical. On her many shopping excursions, she was dancing and singing along to the songs that will be played at her memorial.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son Mike and her brothers, Robert Lynn and Frank Lynn. Shirley was survived by her daughter, Terri (Michael) Justen; grandchildren, Amber (Donnie) Drobny, Mikayla Justen, Crystal Tupman; great-grandchildren, Atticus, Eliot, Giovanni; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and countless friends.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, OH 43623. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, October 21, 2021, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial donations in Shirley's name may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences to the family may be made at:
