We were very sorry to here of Steve's passing. Steve and Bernita were great neighbors to us for many years in Walbridge. We have fond memories of Steve and his Chevy. We are sorry that we will not be able to attend the funeral since we have very recently moved south.

Dear Family - Please know that we share in your sorrow of Steve being taken from us. Our relationship, though relatively short, was very dear to us. We loved his quiet sincere manner, also our common interests. We enjoyed his sharing of stories & pictures of the school house, when he learned that we too, had a retreat. I will value the airplane book he gave to me, when he learned of my interest in airplanes.
Inspite of being a sick man, he wasn't self centered, but showed his love & concern for others, especially his grandchildren. We will truly miss him.
