Stephen Leszkai, age 61, of Genoa, OH, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, OH. He was born on April 26, 1954, in Budapest, Hungary to Stephen and Anna (Kuczora) Leszkai. Stephen's family fled Hungary during the 1956 Hungarian Revolution and, after spending most of 1957 in refugee camps, they settled in the United States in Toledo, OH. On October 23, 2003 he married Wendy (Burkett) Johlin in Newfoundland, PA. He worked at Surface Combustion from February 1983 to March 1985; Glass Tech from March 1985 to May 2009; and Abbott Tool from September 2011 to December 2014. He was a member of the Hungarian Club of Toledo. In his spare time he enjoyed working on home improvement projects and spending time with his family.

Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Wendy; sons, Michael (Reka David) Leszkai, of Budapest, Hungary, Daniel Leszkai, of Oregon, OH, and Stephen (Breanna Oberlin) Leszkai, of Seattle, WA; stepsons, Derek Johlin, of Woodville, OH, and Jacob Johlin, of Genoa, OH; stepdaughter, Jenna (Marvel) Johlin-Thompson, of San Diego, CA; granddaughter, Jayla Thompson, of San Diego, CA; mother, Anna Leszkai, of Oregon, OH; sisters, Julie (George) Ferencz, Edith Roka and Sue (David) Miller, all of Toledo; brother, Thomas (Rita) Leszkai, of Oregon, OH; in addition to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Leszkai.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, November 5, 2015, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Marsh Funeral Home, 201 West Main Street, Woodville, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 6, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Woodville United Methodist Church, Woodville, OH, with additional visitation from 10 a.m. until time of services. Officiating will be Pastor Carol Williams-Young. Interment will be at a later date in Westwood Cemetery, Woodville, OH. There will be a bereavement luncheon served at the church immediately following the funeral services. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
