Susan Schiffman Obituary
August 11, 1946 - August 4, 2025
Susan Ann Schiffman, age 78, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 4, 2025.
She was born on August 11, 1946, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Robert W. and Georgian E. (Murphey) Schiffman. A lifelong resident of Perrysburg, Susan graduated from Perrysburg High School in 1964.
She began her career at Ohio Citizens Bank (now PNC Bank) as a bank teller, and, through more than 30 years of dedicated service, rose to the position of Assistant Vice President before retiring in 2005.
Susan was deeply devoted to giving back to her community. She was an active and faithful member of First Presbyterian Church of Perrysburg and the New Century Club. She was a proud member of the Perrysburg Kiwanis Club, Perrysburg Exchange Club, and the International Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter T in Toledo.
Susan loved to travel with her friends and cherished time spent with her family. She will be remembered for her warmth, compassion, and enduring kindness.
She is survived by her niece, Jennifer Schiffman (Thomas) Redditt; nephew, Steven Schiffman; great-nephew, Jeffrey Redditt; and great-niece, Abigail Redditt. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Robert (Linda) Schiffman.
Friends and family will be received Monday, August 18, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, where funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Fort Meigs Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to First Presbyterian Church of Perrysburg or the Perrysburg Kiwanis Club.

So sad to read Sue's obituary. I worked with her at Ohio Citizens Bank many years and we traveled many times together. She visited me in Florida a couple of times and we always kept in touch but as the years passed, we failed to stay in touch. Sue was a very-well liked person by about everyone. My condolences to her family in this time of sorrow.
