Sydney Rogers Obituary
December 2, 1956 - April 26, 2022
It is with a very heavy heart I write this message. My beloved sister and best friend has made it to her final resting destination. We were on the best 65+ year journey anyone could hope for. She left in peace and is now pain free.
God took her on her last steps to his kingdom. My heart aches as I will miss her so very much. Rest in peace my beautiful sister knowing you were loved by so many. Your loving sister, Di.
A Celebration of Sydney's life is planned for May 22, 2022 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. at The Village Idiot, Maumee OH. Cash bar. In lieu of flowers, please consider giving to St. Timothy's Clothesline, Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity or the Cherry Street Mission.

I will never forget our high school graduation. I had taken senior year off, but took place in the graduation ceremony with my classmates. Syd told everyone that I was shorter than her, so I had to walk in first with her laughing behind me. Great memories of her.

I am so very sorry to learn of Sydney´s passing. I have fond memories of our childhood days together in Springbrook. I wish I had known Sydney as the multi-talented adult she grew to be. Her parents must have been proud of her accomplishments. Dave and Diane, my thoughts are with you.

Syd, truly there was no other like you. Our last time together was at a David Sandborn concert. Oh the memories, the laughter and the peace from sharing time and space will always be remembered in sincere fondness. May I see you again when the smoke clears my friend.
