Terry L. Roop, age 59, of Riga died September 29, 2016, at his home. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2016, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home in Blissfield. Visitation will also be held Thursday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Blissfield Baptist Church. Funeral
Services will be held Thursday, October 6, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the Blissfield Baptist Church with Pastor Tom Franz officiating. Burial will follow in Fairfield Cemetery, Fairfield, MI. Memorial
contributions may be made to Amy Lisa Abigail Memorial. Envelopes are available at Anderson Rudd Funeral Home, Blissfield. You may send condolences to the family at

I am so very sorry to hear about Terry's passing. I did not know him in person but I met him on the internet and talked to him on the phone. He was a wonderful man and talked about his family. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time!!

I had the honor and privilege to get to know Terry when he came to work for ODOT ... Not as a co-worker , but as a friend and a Brother .. I speak for everyone that had worked with him that he was an amazing man to be around and we will miss that laugh and smile ,, Any Masonic Brother that has ever met Terry would tell you that he is the true definition of a Mason to the fullest degree ... My daddy,
I love you so much! You are my hero. My best friend. You were always there for me when I needed you. Always hugged me when I was upset or sad. You helped me threw the passing of my mother, my grandfather, and my sister. I never thought in a million years that I would loose my daddy at such a young age.. I remember when I was a little girl, I always helped you on your side jobs. One in particular was the one that Paul was helping you on at bob and Maryanne's. I did all the mudding and you guys did the rest. You kept telling me how proud you were of me because I was doing such a good job. I remember telling you that I deserved to get paid more then Paul because I was better then him at mudding. that made you laugh for a long time. I don't think I will ever get over this , but I know you were proud of me. And Daddy, I will ALWAYS be YOUR LITTLE GIRL..
