Thomas Fink Obituary
Thomas C. Fink, age 81, of Toledo, passed away January 27, 2024, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born June 21, 1942, in Toledo to Charles and Ann (Lenahan) Fink. Tom graduated from Macomber High School class of 1960. He was a Pipefitter and 60 year member of Local 50 Plumbers, Steamfitters, and Service Mechanics. Tom enjoyed karaoke, NASCAR, hot rods, drag racing and tinkering in his garage. He will forever be remembered for his sense of humor, quick wit, and his one liners.
In addition to his parents, Tom was also preceded in death by his sons, Jeffrey, and John Fink; and sister, Rita Quay. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Katherine Fink; children, Mary (Chris) Rassel, Daniel (Theresa) Fink, and Julie Assenmacher; grandchildren, Kaitlyn (David) Mandeville, Andrew Rassel, Emily Rassel, Josie Assenmacher, Morgan Assenmacher, Elizabeth "Bella" (Luke) McCool, Kayla Fink, and Alan Fink; great-grandson, Henry Mandeville; brother, Joseph (Sally Bergsmark) Fink; nephew, Brad (Gail) Quay, and many other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests Friday, February 2, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer- SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900) where a Scripture Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. The family will also receive guests Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1842 Airport Highway, Toledo, OH, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, or St. Charles Borromeo Church in Tom's memory.

I was a receptionist at Charter senior living where Tom lived for a while . He would come up to the desk almost daily when I was there and we talked about Nascar and whatever was on his mind. He always asked if his bride had gotten there yet. He loves Kathy very much and my heart goes out to his family Tom will be missed very much.
