Timothy C. Huffman
Timothy C. Huffman, age 53, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 31, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital. The son of Richard and Elizabeth "Marcy", he was born November 18, 1967 in Toledo. He was a 1986 graduate of Northland High School in Columbus. Tim was a 1992 graduate of The Ohio State University and received his bachelor's degree in business. He was in the Air Force Reserves while at OSU and the Alpha Kappa Si Business Fraternity where he met his future wife, Amy Gaietto. Tim and Amy married on September 3, 1994 in Lima, OH. The two moved to Kansas City where Tim worked for Honeywell while attending Missouri-Kansas City University receiving his MBA in 2000. In 2002, Tim and Amy moved back to Toledo where Tim worked for a short time with Honeywell and First Solar before beginning a career with Owens Corning as a Global Sourcing Leader.
Tim was known for his tremendous sense of humor, wit, and sarcasm. Tim had a passion for traveling, especially with his family. A favorite tradition for Tim was going with his family to a cabin up north in the Hiawatha Sportsman's Club. He was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, where he served as a youth mentor and an Elder. He loved being the coach for his children in tennis, golf, basketball, and soccer. Tim was a loving husband and devoted to his family putting his children above all else. He leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and commitment to family and faith.
He is survived by his wife, Amy; children, Christopher, Nicholas and Lauren; brother, Dave (Carla) Huffman; sister, Jeanne (Bill) Altmiller; sister-in-law, Mona Huffman; and many special cousins, nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; mother and father-in-law, Larry and Margaret Anne Gaietto; brothers, Mark and Charles "Chip" Huffman; niece, Elizabeth Altmiller; nephews, Danny Altmiller and Josh Huffman.
Friends may visit the family from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd) and on Monday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Christ Presbyterian Church, 4225 Sylvania Ave., Toledo, OH 43623 where a service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Christ Presbyterian Church Youth Group. Condolences may be shared with the family at walkerfuneralhomes.com.

I severed Mr.Huffman on weekly basis at Owens Corning ...making deli sandwiches for him ... and him asking me to cut his tomatoes up real small so he can´t taste them so he can get his veggies in lol ... I was sadden to hear that he went home with the lord .. God speed Mr. Huffman. God gained such a awesome person ... much love to his family .. we will miss his face around OC
