Vicky (Jaco)
Vicky (Jaco) Carroll, 64, of Oregon, died on Friday, May 15, 2015, at St. Charles Hospital. She was born on April 27, 1951, to Charles and Betty (Dunberger) Jaco in Toledo, Ohio.
Vicky attended Clay H.S. and worked many years with her husband operating Windwalker charters. She enjoyed her years volunteering at Oakdale and Jerusalem Elementary Schools where she was President of the Mother's Club. Before retiring, she worked many years at Phantom Fireworks and was affectionately called Grandma by many. She loved gardening, reading, and baking Christmas cookies for her family. In life, her greatest joy besides her family was helping others. Her compassion, strength, and love will always be missed and never replaced.
Vicky was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Carroll; parents and brother, Michael Jaco.
Surviving are her children, John Dobos, Sean Carroll, Kayla Lewandowski, and stepchildren, Richard Carroll, Vickie Sigman, Donna Veith, Jerry Carroll, Michael Carroll and Steven Carroll; brothers, Charles (Jeanne) Jaco and David Jaco; sisters, Bobbi Byers, Tina Jaco and Mary (Michael) Speweik; numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015, at the Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, Ohio from 5 p.m. with the celebration of her life at 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be considered to the family.

OMGOSH! I just heard about Vicky's passing. I was so saddened to hear. She was by far the most helpful, kind, and caring woman. She will be sorely missed by so many. Including our dear mutual friend, Rhonda Eckman. Rest in peace Dear Vicky. And peace and love to her family and many friends.

Vic was a spectacular lady. she was fun to work with at Phantom and also fun to play with when we would go for a drink after a long firework selling day. she would take care of you no matter what - if you needed anything Gram Vic had it or would get it. She was so much to so many people and she will be terribly missed. I am so glad she was part of my life.

To all the family, our sincere condolences. Vicky had a heart of gold and she showed it by helping everyone she could. My brother Bill and I, can't express enough how much we appreciated her looking in on and cooking for her Uncle Bill. We were so fortunate to be able to call her our 'cousin'. RIP VIC! Con & Joe
