Weldon "Don" Mueller

Weldon "Don" Mueller, age 94, of Temperance, MI, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 30, 2022 at St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital, Howell, MI. He was born on August 9, 1928 to Luella and Henry Mueller.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy Seabees during World War II. Don retired from General Mills as a maintenance superintendent. He was a faithful member of Christ the King Lutheran Church. In his free time, Don, enjoyed traveling with his wife, Mary, woodworking, and baking bread and cinnamon rolls.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Ella Mueller; sister, Lucille Beard; son-in-law, Joseph Nelson; and brother-in-law, Jued Knepley.

Left to cherish Don's memory are his loving children, Robin Nelson and Mark (Helen) Mueller; grandchildren, Jennifer (Doug) Hewitt, Brad (Lauren) Nelson, Brian (Alex Mitchell) Nelson, Heather Mueller, and Rachel (Nick) Pollutro; great-grandson, Hayden Hewitt; sisters-in-law, Janice Knepley and Lana (Leonard) Sonnenberg; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 2843 W Sterns Rd., Lambertville, MI 48144, where Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Napoleon, OH.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Christ the King Lutheran Church or the Toledo Gospel Rescue Mission.
