Christopher Mueller, of Dunellen, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center in New Brunswick. He was 63 years old. Born in New Brunswick, he was raised in North Brunswick. He was a 1980 graduate from St. Joseph’s High School in Metuchen. He has lived in Dunellen for the past 30 years, where he raised his family.
Chris was a dining hall manager for Princeton University. He also had worked part time for Dec-Crete in Piscataway. Being very active, he volunteered for the OEM Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) in Dunellen and was a consultant for the Traumatic Brain Injury Alliance of NJ. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in North Brunswick.
Chris played hockey and was a Rangers fan. He was a food and wine lover and enjoyed going to NJ Winery’s with his wife Jackie and friends. He also would go to flea markets and garage sales to pass the time away.
He is predeceased by his parents David and Patricia (Lyons) Mueller.
Surviving is his loving wife of 29 years, M. Jackie (Wilcox) Mueller; his sons Daniel Perez (Angela) of Raritan and Sean Mueller of Dunellen; his beloved grandson Dominick Perez; his brothers David Mueller of Monroe Twp., Matthew Mueller (Alma) of FL, Timothy Mueller (Caroline) of NY and Adam Mueller (Susan) of PA; his adoring aunts Margie of VA and Florence of Waretown; and several nieces and nephews.
A Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, March 15th, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, 10:00 am, at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Rt. 130 North, North Brunswick. Cremation will be private.
