Wilbur "Webb" Clark Guilliams

Wilbur "Webb" Clark Guilliams passed away peacefully at his home in Toledo, Ohio, on October 3, 2025. Born on June 20, 1928, to Clark Preston and Beulah Marelda (Carre) Guilliams, Webb was raised on a farm near Hiawatha, Kansas.

After graduating Hamlin High School in 1946, Webb proudly served in the Army Air Corps at Lackland Air Training Center in San Antonio, Texas, until he was honorably discharged (S/SGT) in 1949. Webb was recalled to active duty in 1950 during the Korean War, serving in the Air Force Reserve's 56th Fighter Group, 61stFighter Wing at Selfridge, Michigan, and was honorably discharged in 1953. Webb continued military tradition as a member of the Walter Weller American Legion Post 135 in Toledo, Ohio.

Following his last military stint, Webb returned to Kansas where he was employed by the Hiawatha Motor Company as a car salesman. Upon relocating to Toledo, Ohio, he worked as a meat cutter at The Provo Meat Company for 11 years, before joining the Seaway Foodtown Company. Retiring in 1992, Webb enjoyed a 30-year career at Foodtown that spanned multiple operating divisions in positions including Sales Manager, Plant Manager, General Manager, and Vice President. His specialized expertise in meat processing and logistics led to service on the Boards of Directors of the Northwest Ohio Restaurant Association and the Northwest Ohio Truckers Association.

Webb was preceded in death by Mary, his lovely wife of 40 years; daughter, Cynthia S. Guilliams; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marelda and Charles Baker, and Hazel and James Foster. Surviving are his children, Terri (Gary) Semmler and Diana (William) Hostetler; and stepchildren, Donald (Mary) Smith, Betty (Robert) Gorniak, Ted (Patricia) Smith, Kathy (Raymond) Ailstock; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
