William "Bill" F. Bihn

William F. Bihn, 75, of Curtice, OH passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg Center. He was born in Toledo, OH on December 12, 1942 to William A. and Mary M. Bihn. Bill was a 1960 graduate of Central Catholic High School. He completed his carpentry apprenticeship becoming a journeyman carpenter. He married his wife, Doris on June 24, 1967 and they started their family together. Bill worked for the Local Carpenter's Union in Toledo for many years and in 1991 worked at Sun Oil Refinery, retiring in 2007. Bill was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church where he helped with the annual church festivals. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed fishing and his monthly breakfast gatherings with the Sun Oil Carpenter Retirees. He will be dearly missed.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Doris J. Bihn; son, Jason W. Bihn, M.D. of Toledo, OH; siblings, Kathleen A. Bihn of Bowling Green, OH, John T. (Pat) Bihn of Temperance, MI and Rozann M. Bihn of Bowling Green, OH; nieces and nephew, Shannon L. (Mark) Simonetti of Toledo, OH, Marissa R. Bryant of Indianapolis, IN, Kristie R. Bihn of Los Angeles, CA and Brandon D. Bihn of Lambertville, MI; great-niece and great-nephews, Jake and Alissa Bryant, Cole Simonetti and Gage Bihn. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Sharon E. Bihn.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 1105 Elliston Rd., (Bono) Martin, Ohio where family will greet guests after 9:30 a.m. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Helping Hands of St. Louis, Little Sisters of the Poor, Hospice of Northwest Ohio or charity of the donor's choice.
