William E. "Windy" STEVENSON Jr.

STEVENSON William E. Jr. "Windy" William E. Stevenson, 73, of Waterville, Ohio died Saturday April 14, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee, OH. Bill was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 9, 1938, to William E. and Lillian (Hobbs) Stevenson Sr. He married LuAnn O'Brien in Toledo, Ohio in 1973. Bill drove a truck for over 40 years for Norwalk Truck Line, Interstate System and D-C Transport (Jeep Fleet), retiring in 2004. He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served as an airborne MP while stationed in Germany. He was a member of Perrysburg First United Methodist Church, the Teamsters Local 20, the UAW Local 12, the American Legion Post #320, and the Maumee Elks Lodge 1850. He enjoyed family get-togethers, fishing and golfing, where his hobby was to assemble custom golf clubs. William is survived by his wife, LuAnn; daughter, Marcie Hubbell (Larry Morehouse) of Perrysburg; son, James Stevenson of Maumee; granddaughter, Tiffany Hubbell of Toledo; grandson, Bradley Hahn, and great-grandsons, Brayden Eby, and Nolan Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Sherry Biroth. Visitation for William will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012, in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Maumee, Ohio.
