Ronald Holliday Obituary

Ronald G. Holliday PENNINGTON Ronald G. Holliday passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 24, 2020, at his Pennington home. He was born and raised in Trenton and was dedicated to his career in law enforcement. After military service in the Marine Corps, he worked as a patrolman, detective and sergeant for the Princeton Police Department then, following retirement in 1987, he worked at the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office as a Special Agent. Ron was an outdoor enthusiast who worked his farm and operated a Woodland Management Program, which permitted him to spend much time outdoors planting seedlings, removing and replanting trees, and cutting firewood. He enjoyed hunting and had a lifelong commitment to physical fitness. Most of all, he enjoyed time with friends and family. His grandchildren were most special to him and through his unpredictable antics, he created many long-lasting memories with them both at the Cape May shore house and at home. Ron is survived by his wife, Patricia Inverso Holliday; his son and daughter-in-law, John and Antoinette Holliday of Pennington; his daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Chris Manz of Titusville; his beloved grandchildren, Christopher, Maria, Danielle, John and Justin; and his sister, Larayne Peters and her family of Pennington. Those who called him friend, relative, "Doc", husband, Dad and Pop will mourn his loss but will continuously share in the wonderful memories he created. Private family services and interment will be held at the Titusville Presbyterian Church with Rev Kenneth Good officiating. Contributions may be made to the Titusville Presbyterian Church, 48 River Drive, Titusville, NJ 08560. Arrangements are by the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Road, Pennington. Condolences are welcome at www.wilsonapple.com. Wilson-Apple Funeral Home 2560 Pennington Rd. Pennington, NJ 08534 (609) 737-1498
