Bettie Mae Jones

Bettie Mae Jones TRENTON- Bettie Mae Jones age 69 passed away Jan. 7, 2014 at Raritan Bay Medical Center Perth Amboy, NJ. She was born in Warrenton, N.C and lived in Trenton over 40 years. She was educated in the Warrenton, N.C public school system. Betty retired from the State of New Jersey and was a School Aide at Parker School, and a Nursing Aide at Providence Nursing Home Preceded in death by her husband Lorenzo C. Jones Sr., son Alton L. Jones, stepfather Albert Starling, two nephews Pavevo Davis, and James Austin. Betty is survived by mother Ellen B. Starling, two sisters Florence Moreland and Lottie Ferguson, her children Maria Jones, and Beatrice Jones-Thomas (Anthony), two brothers Zebedee Jones and Lorenzo C. Jones Jr., sister Myrtle Jones, three daughters-in-law Mae Jones, Tonya Tucker, and Tonya Benson, 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, special friend John "Pee Wee" Lewis, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral service will be 11am Mon Jan. 13, 2014 at Grace Cathedral Fellowship Ministries 1217 Calhoun St. Trenton, NJ. Calling hours will be 9am until time service at the church. Interment Colonial Memorial Park Hamilton, NJ. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home
