David M. Yake ALLENTOWN - David M. Yake, 60, of Allentown, NJ, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at NYP/Columbia University Medical Center in New York, NY. Born in Trenton, he resided in Allentown, NJ for the past 24 years. He was a graduate of Princeton High School Class of ’73; he earned his Bachelor Degree in ‘77 from Trenton State College. He was a financial management consultant. Dave was a history buff and a classically trained musician who loved all genres of music. The two most important things in Dave’s life were his family and friends. Dave loved to travel and always took the long way home. He was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, brother, and uncle. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Dave is survived by his parents, John “Jack” and Evelyn (Barkholz) Yake; his beloved wife of 32 years, Kim (Keeney) Yake; his devoted sons, Thomas John and Michael David Yake; a brother, John Yake and family; a sister-in-law, Debra Keeney and husband Richard Narburgh; a brother-in-law, Keith Keeney and wife Jeanne; and his nieces and nephews: Christopher and fiancée Jessica, Megan, Sarah, and Matthew; as well as many other family members and lifetime friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Gregory the Great Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Sq., NJ. Burial will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Gordon Rd., Robbinsville, NJ. Family and friends may call Friday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday morning from 8:00 am to 9:00 am at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
