Edwin Joseph Pickell

Edwin Joseph Pickell KINGSTON - Edwin Joseph Pickell, 87 of Kingston died on September 24, 2016 at home. He worked at Triangle Cable for 25 years and J.C. Dolph Co. for 16 years. Retiring in 1997 as a receiving clerk. He served in the U.S. Army Signal Corp from 1953-1955. The son of the late Melvin and May Pickell, late brother of Melvin Jr. and two sisters Betty and Loretta and husband of the late Jean Pickell for 51 years. He is survived by two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law Mary and Carlton Lawrence, Lillian Howell, Claude Shoup Sr. and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held at 10AM Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Kingston Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Kingston. There were no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, Monmouth Junction. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Foundation in memory of his late wife Jean E. Pickell.
