I am Fred Yaple's other daughter and "Uncle John" was a big part of my childhood. For many years, he came to visit every week. He even came to visit us when we were on vacation in the Poconos. Even though Uncle John had serious health problems the last few years, he always sent me a Christmas card and attended the memorial services of both of my parents, even though it was difficult for him. He was a very sweet man. I will miss him and his beautiful blue eyes.

John was a good friend of my father, Fred Yaple. I have very fond memories of "Uncle John" coming to our home for visits and going fishing with my father. He was a very kind man and a good caring friend to Fred for many years. My condolences to his family.
