Keith C. Fisher

HAMILTON - Keith C. Fisher, 64, of Hamilton, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011, at home, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with bladder cancer.
Born in Trenton, Keith was a lifelong area resident and member of St. Gregory the Great RC Church. He retired from the State of New Jersey, OIT Department, after many years of service.
An honorably discharged U.S. Air Force veteran, he was also a member of the N.J. Army National Guard and American Legion Post 530 in Robbinsville.
An avid woodworker and model builder, Keith built various keepsake pieces for many family members. He was also involved with the design and construction of stage sets for Notre Dame High School and many community theatre companies, including Stars in the Park.
He enjoyed watching Stargate SG-1 and Yankees baseball.
Son of the late Otis and Alice Stout Fisher, he is survived by his wife of 37 years, Joan Hartleroad Fisher; his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Michael Pittman; two sisters, Joan A. Fisher, and Sherry Baer and her husband Hud; two sisters-in-law, Gail Bowers and her husband Bob, and Karen Coviello and her husband Frank; his brother-in-law, Frank Hartleroad, Jr. and his wife Rita; four nephews and three nieces.
The funeral will begin 10 a.m. Monday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great RC Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
Interment will follow in Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ. Family and friends may call from 4-7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Colonial Home.
