Lamar Crawford Obituary
Born and raised in Trenton, Lamar graduated from Notre Dame High School and attended Claflin College in South Carolina where he majored in Political Science. An Honorably Discharged Veteran, Lamar served in the United States Army from 1986-1989. Lamar coached Little League Basketball and Football in Trenton for over 10 years.
Lamar was predeceased by his father, John W. Crawford.
He is survived by his mother, Bertha J. Crawford; his wife, Marquita Crawford of Trenton; his children Lamar, Jr., Jenay, Jamar, August and Shauntese; his siblings, Leroy Crawford (Deidre) of Va., Tina Crawford-Davis (Ahmed) of Pa.; Sherry McCoy-Barlow (Darryl) of Trenton, nieces and nephews, Eric, Taswir, Tiyan, Lasana, Joi, Janeira, Dexter, Shenaya, and Natara; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and mentees.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 12, at noon at The Love Fellowship Tabernacle, 5918 Hulmeville Road., Bensalem, Pa. 19020. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon. Interment at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Ledford Funeral Home, 929 S. Lamar,
I miss you so terribly. Me and my childhood friends laugh about how you used to mess with us so bad and had us cracking up at ourselves! You taught me how to drive when we would go to empty parking lots and you would let me sit on your lap and steer the car. You also taught me how to drive a 5-speed also! I remember always looking up to you and I still do. Even when daddy was unable to walk me down the aisle, you were right there, nothing could stop you from walking me down the aisle that day!! I'm glad to know that you and daddy are together and that we will all be together some day in eternity. I'm still numb. I miss you and I love you Big Bro!

My Deepest Condolences go out to the Mrs.Crawford, and siblings, and to his Wife and Children, August and Shautese. I remember attending the Beautiful Wedding of Lamar and Marquita. Lamar was a good father and a humble man. I remember seeing him at the hospital with August never leaving her side. The Lord takes care of all who love Him. It was so sad to hear of his passing as he was a part of the 'crew' from Rutherford Ave. He was always funny, lovable to be around and so many other memories of him that will live on in our hearts. MY condolences to Lamar's family in this time of deep sorrow.
