Mattie Bragdon Wade TRENTON - Mattie Bragdon Wade, 91 of Trenton departed this life on June 9, 2014 at Royal Health Gate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Supply, NC, Ms. Wade moved to Trenton in 1950. She started her employment at New Jersey Neuro-Psychiatric Institute in Skillman, NJ; was Supervisor for nine years at the Anderson Custodial Services of Trenton; and retired in 1986 from the Trenton Psychiatric Hospital. After retiring Mattie Wade continued to help people as a Home Health Aide. She was a member of St. Phillips Missionary Baptist Church for over 50 years where she served on the Senior Choir and Pastors Aide. She was a faithful member of Lady Aquila Chapter #103 Order of Easton Star where she served as Past Worthy matron. Predecease by her parents, James and Lottie Bragdon; a son, Lacy Gady; siblings, Pauline McLeod, Grace Coleman, and Laura May Page; a niece, Joyce B Clemons and longtime friend, Maggie Miller. Mattie is survived by her son, Willie Bragdon; a daughter-in-law, Sara Gady; grandchildren, Tasha, Stephanie and Gwen Gady, Greg,, Sharon and Wanda Anderson; 11 great grand-children; nephews, Alan, Jimmy (Elaine) McLeod, Herbert, Ronald (LaVern) Paige; nieces, Janice McLeod, Phyllis Williams, Grace James, Joyce Ann Paige, Silvia Montgomery, Adama Paige; several other relatives and a special friend, Lillie Hudson. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 13, 2014 at 1:00pm the St. Phillips Baptist Church 445 Parkinson Ave. Hamilton NJ. Interment will be in Ewing Cemetery. Calling hour will be from 12noon to 1pm with Eastern Star dedication at 12:30. Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton
