Tomorrow marks the 1st anniversary of your final journey. We have all missed you but keep you close in our hearts. We still laugh about some of your antics and are passing them on, as you would have wanted.

I miss you dearly, but know that you are watching over us, but sometimes it's very hard not to feel sad that you are gone. I love you Daddy, and we are "all aright".

To Julie and Nanette,

I am sorry to hear of the passing of your father Julie. I had just returned from spending New Years Eve with a friend from grammar and high school and his family in Cincinnati on Sunday night when my mom gave me the news as there was no writeup in the newspaper we usually get. I am a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 7000 also, but I did not get to meet him. I recieved the email from one of the past Grand Knights, who had told us to meet to honor him. I did not get that email till I looked up my mail later that night. Again my apology's for not getting to recite prayer with them on his passing. All I can say is that may he rest in peace reunited with those who have gone before him. To my cousin Nanette, my most sincere condolences on your loss as well of your partners father. I once wrote in a memorial that death is never a closed door, but a avenue to adventure. May your father Julie begin his adventure into entering the Kingdom of Heaven, where all are welcome into the House of God the Father with a Choir of Angels by his side, Alleluia!!! Alleluia!!!!

Aunt Sissy & Family,
Our sincere syumpathy in this time of sorrow and rememberance. Our fond memories of "Uncld Ray" will keep his memory alive. First & foremost was our motor trip from Albuquerque, NM to Drumwright, OK, where we picked Aunt Betty Harris & continued on to Branson, MO, in that big rented Lincoln Town Car. The ice cream parlor was such a "hysterical laughing episode", I'm sure none of us will ever forget. Even the couple that wanted to join our table because we were having so much fun. Next was our motor trip to California where "uncle Ray' was determined to find the naval island that he was shipped-out from during WWII. His co-pilot driving instructions (to me) were really a test of patience, but he did find the place. He even talked his way past the armed guard at the guard station and got in to see the docks and some of the buildings where he was trained.
These are just a few of the memories that will always keep Uncle Ray alive, in our hearts, for the rest of our lives.

Daddy,

With tearful eyes saw you pass away, although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
God saw you were getting tired and wanting to be free.
So he put his arms around you and whispered, "Come to me”.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
