I offer my condolences to the family of Sarah Dash and pray that she is resting in peace in the loving embrace of the Divine Presence! Sarah was a most beautiful and genuine soul! Her music both with Labelle and as a solo artist brought me great joy and often solace in difficult times in my life's journey. May she bless the heavenly realm with her sweet, melodious soprano and with the grace and generosity of Spirit with which she so blessed her earthly fans, friends, and family!1 Love you, Sarah Dash and you will truly indeed be missed by me and many! Will there be a memorial at some point. I didn't know about the viewing on Oct. 1. I looked everywhere online and found nothing. Really sorry and sad because I would have been there had I known. From New York CIty!!!

My with the news of the passing of Ms. Sara Dash...God has blessed me to sing background vocals for some of the greatest legends on earth. Sara Dash was one of those legends. When she invited Annette Coward and myself to meet with her about her upcoming show at the City Winery in NYC, we were greeted with a warm, discerning spirit & I was honored with the request to hold down your BGV´s at the City Winery show. I will never forget the fun we had in rehearsals & our regular check-in calls thereafter. Sarah was witty, kind, caring, hilariously funny and oh so real. The consummate professional and a lady at all times.
I will miss you very deeply Sarah, and I count it a privilege to have shared valuable personal space with you in this life- Rest easy my friend.
