Tom, Jenny, and Maura,
What a difference 5 years make. We lost Kevin, and unfortunately you almost lost me 4-4-18. Life goes on.
I loved a bonny lass, she's gone, but like the song, " I gone on! " Your Dad was the Father of the Tuffy Clan.
The Pipes aren't playing, but the song remains as if he saw how proud you Tom are of Maura who made Jenny's life so happy to have that child you lost! I don't know what else to say, but if this girl who says I love you to me
every now and then, and cares about your soccer friend, if your not in the wedding, I want you there, to share the happiest day I deserve on this Earth for a place I never wanted to own as a son, but if it wasn't I doubt I would not be so happy to know the three of you! Mr McDonald was overjoyed I was there, unbeknownst to him whether working at the Club or not Lieger would be there! Love you all!
Love,
Peter

Dear Mr and Mrs Pucciarelli and Family,
I did not know that you, Mrs Pucciarelli, was the daughter of Mr Tuffy. I have known Tom, your brother, since 1979 when I would be out with the boys from St Anthony's when we went to MCCC and Rider University and sometimes road trips to Rutgers. I was there at the church and reception at Nassau Inn when Tom and Jenny married in 1986. Your dad was a great guy as when your mom died I introduced myself to your dad and he said he been at my parents restaurant, and when I would go to the War Memorial to see concerts your dad was there to shake my hand if I happened to see him. I grieve with you and Mr. Pucciarelli, as well as Tom,Jenny, and Maura, and the entire Tuffy Clan as I heard the pipes when I was coming tonight from my car parked a block away as your dad was a true Irishman. His warmth and friendship was always a pleasant sight to see and the guys always said I went to the wrong high school as my friends from St Anthony's always welcomed me with open arms as if we were longtime friends and I cherish that. That warnmth and friendship resounds in your family, especially Tom who I call one of my close friends and like another brother. Its like Sir Paul McCartney's words of wisdom " Let It Be, " as Mr. Tuffy is reunited with your mom and their romance lives on again in new life with the Lord God, Virgin Mary, and Christ the King. May God Bless Him and the entire Tuffy Family.

Dear Tuffy Family,
Several years ago, as we were composing the obituary for my mother, two sisters-in-law said she was "a classy lady". Your father was a classy gentleman. At the morning daily Mass, he was an excellent reader and altar server. It was also a joy to hear his wonderful singing voice, as he led the congregation in the Gospel Acclamation. It was an honor and a privilege for me to have known your father these past two years. May his soul rest in peace and may God continue to bless his family, especially during your time of sorrow.

The thing that comes to mind when I think of Tom Tuffy is his radiant smile and his kind words. He was the epitome of "the perfect gentleman." Prayers to the Tuffy clan.

I got to know Tom through a couple of "road trips" to Met games and Saratoga. A gentleman through and through, who made me feel as though I knew him for years in just a few minutes after meeting him. I never saw him without that captivating smile. My sympathy to the Tuffy family on their loss. I know just how much he'll be missed.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.

Dear Tom, Jenny, and Maura,
Words cannot convey what I truly feel about the loss your dad, father in law, and grandfather to your child. I did not really know him, but the times I would see him at a concert at the War Memorial his hand was always there to shake mine as I would ask how is the family. It is with deep sadness that I type this and may your dad, father to your siblings and grandfather to your nieces and nephews rest in peace. May God Bless the Tuffy Family.
