Daniel Powers Obituary
Born March 4, 1952, in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Daniel M. Powers, Sr. and Eva L (Neilson) Powers, she survives.
He married his wife Vicki Rushnok on May 18, 2011. She survives and lives in Punxsutawney, PA.
Dan worked many years as Produce Manager at Fezell's Shop-n-Save of DuBois, PA. He also worked at the Comet Market in Punxsutawney, PA, until his retirement.
He loved spending time with family, especially his buddy Braxton. He also enjoyed fishing and playing golf.
He is survived by: Two children, Jessica (Yagnik) Powers and husband Gautam of Miami, FL; Daniel Powers and fiance Brooke Kunselman of DuBois, PA; Three step children: W. Michael Rushnok and wife Wendy of Punxsutawney, PA, Tyler Rushnok and significant other Justine Kaza of Brookville, PA, Casey Rushnok and fiance Dan Geer of Punxsutawney, PA; Five grandchildren: Connor, Willa, Madison, Zoey and Braxton; Three sisters: Linda (Sauers) Powers of Gibsonia, PA, Connie (Thiebaud) Powers and husband Tom of Belcamp, MD, Sue (Weaver) Powers and husband John of Reynoldsville, PA: One brother, Jon Powers and wife Paula of Brockway, PA. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stacey Lynn, and a brother-in-law, Tom Sauers.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

During the summer and college breaks when I worked at my Dad’s Shop-n-Save, I always worked for Dan in produce. He was a really good man, treated me well and became a friend. I’m sorry for your loss.
