Grace Gavazzi Obituary
She was born September 7, 1933, in DuBois, daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline Benny. She grew up in DuBois and after marriage moved to Weedville.
On February 27, 1954, in DuBois, Grace married the late Richard V. Gavazzi, who preceded her in death on August 30, 2017.
Grace is survived by her daughters: Mary Ann Maholtz, Debbie Giovanini (Bob), and Pamela Gavazzi; son, Richard G. Gavazzi (Chris); six grandchildren: Chad Maholtz (Courtney), Branda Maholtz, Erin Liptak (Charlie), Ashley Giovanini, Lindsey Hetrick (Corey), and Katie Simons (Darren); and four great-grandchildren: Anthony and Sophia Liptak and Kendrick and Ryan Maholtz.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Florence Dragunas, Josephine Young, and Belle Johnston. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Funeral services will be held privately by Grace's family.
Per Grace's wishes, there will be no visitation. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Force.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to Bennett's Valley Ambulance Association, 12479 Bennett's Valley Highway, Penfield, PA 15849, Crystal Fire Department, PO Box C, St. Marys, PA 15857, and Jay Township Fire Department, PO Box 146, Byrnedale, PA 15827.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. Online condolences may be offered at www.lynch-radkowski.com.
