Nancy Davies

Nancy Davies, 86, of Stoneboro, PA, formerly of DuBois, PA died Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at her daughter's home.

Born on February 7, 1939, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Stanger and Marie Entze.

On December 26, 1962, she married Donald B. Davies. He preceded her in death on December 30, 2007.

Nancy was a wife, mother, homemaker, and had also worked as a substitute elementary school teacher and a daycare provider. She also graduated from Slippery Rock College.

She had been a member of First Presbyterian Church in DuBois, PA. Nancy enjoyed reading and spending time at the beach with her friends and family. She loved children and enjoyed laughing at funny statements from her children.

Nancy is survived by her children (Glenn Davies and his wife Lynn of Reading, PA, Gregory Davies of Eastman, GA and Sherri Buckley and her husband Andy of Stoneboro, PA); seven grandchildren; and her brother (John Stanger and his wife Nancy of Pittsburgh, PA).

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.

A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. from the funeral home, with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.

Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
