Raymond Balerio Obituary

Raymond Salvador Balerio, 60, sadly left us on June 25, 2024. He was born in Denver, Colorado but lived in Casper, Wyoming for almost 40 years. He devoted his life to making his high school sweetheart, Barb, safe and happy. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, being outdoors, traveling, and tending to his lawn and garden.

Raymond is survived in death by his wife, Barb; daughters: Crystal (Jason Paredes), Franciesca (David van Leenen), and Natalie (Ken Afan); grandchildren: Illyana, Catalina, and Anthony; sister Becky; and many other nieces, nephews, and family members.

Raymond is preceded in death by his mother Josephine, father Joseph, brothers Joseph and Lenny, and sister Vicky.

A service will be held in his honor at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 11, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 400 Country Club Road.

Barb and family I am so sorry for your loss! I remember Ray as a super nice guy when I met him the few times I had the honor of doing so. Praying for you.

So sorry to hear of your loss of Ray. He was always so pleasant at work. His smile was infectious. May God comfort you in the sad times ahead. I pray the memories you made together will warm your heart and remind you all of the love he had for each of you. Thoughts and prayers for you as you find your way without his presence. Keep super busy and hold fast to each other. Grieving is easier when shared with those who loved him and can share their stories about Ray. God bless you all. Henri Manning, co worker years ago.

Barb and family,
Sorry, to hear of your loss. I have known Ray since 2000, he was a co-worker, friend and then boss. Ray worked hard to support his wife and girls with their goals, he did everything he could to see them happy and succeed (which they have)! Then came grandkids, Ray was on top of the world. Pray for his family as they go through this hard time, remember all the great times and memories.

Barb and family,
I am so sorry for this tremendous loss to your family. I had such respect for the way that Ray loved all of you... he was a very dedicated husband, dad, and grandpa. The love that he felt for each of you was undeniable. I learned a lot of things from Ray in the 20 years that we worked together... we had some good and some not so good discussions... each one always making me think. I know that was his goal. My kids will always remember the fun they had with him when they stopped by the office when he was working.
Ray was one of a kind - and I know that his impact on each of you will be with you forever. Hopes for comfort and healing for your family.

Dawn and I are sorry for your loss. It is an understatement to say Ray will be missed. Ray was a great coworker and a better (true) friend. We are grateful to have known Ray and for the time spent with him. I´ll always remember Ray´s smile, his positive attitude no matter the situation, and the good times we had over the years.

I worked with Ray for 20 years. He was always a pleasure to be around and he could always make you laugh. He was an excellent control room operator and more than once stopped some serious situations from getting really out of hand. He was a special kind of guy and enjoyable to be around. Rest in Peace Ray.
