Maryann Barrett Wilkins Township MaryAnn (Monahan) Barrett, 67, of Wilkins Township, died Monday, June 25, 2012. She was the beloved wife of John L. Barrett of 41 years; loving mother of Brian (Shelby) Barrett and Melissa "Missy" (Nick Carangio) Barrett; beloved grandmother of Jackson, Emery and Addison; sister of Judy Grystar, Margaret "Peggy" Brindle, Marjorie Ramsey, Michael Monahan, Kathleen Monahan and the late Terrence Monahan; sister-in-law of James F. Barrett; niece of Marjorie Coldren; also survived by many nieces nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was a graduate of Sewickley Valley Hospital School of Nursing. MaryAnn worked in labor and delivery at Magee Hospital. She was a member of the Ladies AOH Division 1, Bluffton, S.C. MaryAnn cherished spending time with her grandchildren and working needle point, knitting and cross stitching. Friends will be welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME, Turtle Creek/Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave. at James St., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. John Fisher Church. Interment will follow in Christ the Redeemer Cemetery.
