Norma Delligatti, 95, of Plum, passed on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Beloved wife to the late Michael A. Delligatti; mother to Susan (David) Antal, Christina (David) Burtyk, and Carol (Thomas) Oliver; grandma to Amy, David, Scott, Jesse, Stephen, and Holly; great-grandma to Tyler, Madison, Liviana, and Josephine; sister to Carol Schiller; aunt to several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in her passing by her granddaughter, Jamie; and her sister, Marilyn Conner. Norma was a medical staff secretary at Citizens General Hospital for many years. She was a member of East Suburban Artist League, winning several awards throughout her time in the league. Being born in 1929, she saw a lot of changes in her life. From the Great Depression to World War II, she was around for it all. Even living through these events, she kept her head up and lived her life to the fullest. She lived a happy life, loving painting and gardening. Norma traveled after her retirement, going across the United States at least three times. Her sisters, brothers-in-law, and friends were her favorite travel companions. She was the light of the family and will be dearly missed. SOXMAN FUNERAL HOMES, LTD., 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road), Penn Hills, has been entrusted with arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
