Robert Glenn "Bob" Stoughton, 68, passed away at UPMC East in Monroeville, surrounded by his daughters and siblings, Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019. He was born June 30, 1950, in Wilkinsburg to Ralph and Marie (Stull) Stoughton. Left to honor and remember his love are Bob's three daughters, Marita (Stoughton) Pugliano, Lindsay Stoughton and Bobbi Stoughton; and four grandchildren, Isaiah Brandenburgh, Ronald Lewis III, Brantley Lewis and Brielle Williams. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Stoughton. He is also survived by siblings, brother Mike and wife Alberta Stoughton, sister Joyce Marcoz, brother Pete and wife Gretchen Stoughton, and sisters Carol Giacomin and Nancy Stoughton. Bob worked as a bricklayer/mason prior to retiring in 2009. He spent his retirement years living in a small cottage along the upper Allegheny River near Kennerdell. Bob enjoyed the outdoor life, in particular the times spent hiking, fly fishing and drinking beer with his brothers in the Beartooth Mountains of Montana.
A memorial/celebration of his life is being planned for this summer along the upper Allegheny River where he spent his years following retirement. Arrangements are by JAMES F. KUTCH FUNERAL HOMES AND CREMATORY, 433 Lincoln Highway, East McKeesport, PA 15035, 412-823-4054.
