Virginia D. (Yeager) Ott, 89, of Irwin, died Saturday, June 3, 2017, at UPMC East, Monroeville. She was born Nov. 27, 1927, in Hastings, the daughter of the late Gordon A. and Sylvia M. (Kibler) Yeager. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church of Irwin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Ott Sr.; a daughter, Beverly A. Ott; and three brothers, Gary, Morgan and Reginald Yeager. Surviving are five children, Kathleen Vesco, of Irwin, Mary Jo Ott, of Irwin, Joseph F. Ott Jr. and his wife, Cathryn, of Saltsburg, Theresa Ott, of Irwin, John F. Ott and his wife, Susan, of North Huntingdon; six grandchildren, Melissa Johnson and her husband, Justin, Michael Vesco, Joseph F. Ott III and his wife, Mary Ann, John Morgan Ott, Adam Ott and Lucy Ott; three great-grandchildren, Joseph F. Ott IV, Elyse Ott and Ryan Johnson; three brothers, Alan Yeager, of Ashville, Russell Yeager and his wife, Dorothy, of North Huntingdon, Richard Yeager and his wife, Carlene, of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin. Parting prayers will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will follow in Irwin Union Cemetery, North Huntingdon.
