John C. Daykon

John C. Daykon, 78, of Harrison City, passed on Friday, March 10, 2023. John was the devoted husband of Roxan (DiCenzo) Daykon. He was the loving father of John (Melissa) Daykon and Melissa (Christopher) Southern. He was the adoring Pap to Natalie and Elena Southern, and Dominick and Lucas Daykon. He is also survived by his sister, Sophie (Louis) Houck; brother-in-law, Frank (Coleen) DiCenzo; and numerous nieces and nephews. John was preceded in passing by his parents, John and Mary (Glovach) Daykon; and siblings, Barbara and Richard Daykon. John was a proud Air Force Veteran and retired from a career as a PAT Bus Driver. He adored his grandchildren and family, and enjoyed fishing with his Pitcairn Oakhill Camp buddies, attending monthly dinners with his Rosecrest childhood crew and vacationing at the beach with close friends. John was a kind, honest, loving man who will be missed by all. Our thanks to everyone who loved and cared for him.
