Martin J. O'Malley

Martin John O'Malley passed away Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022. He was 91. Martin was the beloved companion of Jean E. Gorman; loving father of Kevin O'Malley, Mark O'Malley (Melanie), Brian O'Malley and Robert O'Malley (Christen); and dear grandfather of Kellie O'Malley. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Martin is the beloved husband of the late Margaret "Peggy" O'Malley (Cummins). Mr. O'Malley was born and raised in Rosmuc, County Galway, Ireland, and came to the United States in 1947. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He spent his working career with Goodyear in sales and marketing, and upon retirement continued working for the Small Business Administration. Martin led an active life; golfing, reading, writing, listening to music and leading discussion groups. He was very involved in his church and community around him. He will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, 601 Route 73 South at Evesham Road Marlton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in The Catholic Church of St. Mary, 2001 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill, N.J. Interment will take place at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, 2022, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Pittsburgh.
