Michael R. Pisano

1958 - 2017

Michael R. Pisano, 58, a lifelong resident of Coraopolis, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 18, 2017, at his home. He will be missed for his quick, witty jokes. Michael was born Oct. 16, 1958, in McKees Rocks, the cherished son of Ross F. Pisano (Lillian), of Thornburg, and Antoinette (Pickens) Larnino, of Coraopolis; loving brother of Michele Pisano (Alan), of Coraopolis; stepbrother of Tracey White, of California, and Amy Gallagher (David), of Kennedy; proud uncle to twins, Brian and Daniel Bialowas (Ashley), Sydney and Madison White, and Emilee, Brooke, and David Gallagher; great-uncle to Erin and Jacob Bialowas; also survived by his wonderful caregiver for more than 15 years, Virginia Zimmerman. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Diane Pisano. He was well-loved by his numerous friends. Michael was a self-taught body man, working on his "pride and joy," his '67 Camaro, which he rebuilt. And remember the car cruises on Sundays at Sam's Club? He also trained himself to be a computer guru. He had great sense of humor, loved his popsicles, and never let his 29 years with M.S. define or affect his life.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at COPELAND'S CORAOPOLIS, 867 Fifth Ave., where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Dr. Donald Scandrol will officiate. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
