Patrick Munn, 18, of Sewickley, died unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, in Burlington, Vt. Born Jan. 16, 2004, in Alexandria, Va., Patrick spent most of his life in Sewickley. He was a 2022 graduate of Quaker Valley High School and had just begun his first year at the University of Vermont, where he was in the Honors College studying political science. Patrick played baritone saxophone in the pep band and enjoyed performing at UVM hockey and basketball games. Brilliant, kind, enthusiastic and funny, Patrick valued learning and consistently sought out opportunities to deepen his knowledge, participating in Science Olympiad and HighQ in high school. He enjoyed his work on stage crew and in marching band throughout high school, and, above all else, loved to read. Patrick is survived by his adoring parents, Josh Munn and Wendy Quattlebaum; loving stepparents, Wynne Lundblad and Joshua Quattlebaum; and devoted brother, Jonathan Munn, all of Sewickley. He is also survived by his grandparents, Sue and Henry Zang and Sherry Dinnen and Gary McMillan, all of Hampton; uncles, Myles Dinnen, of Pittsburgh, and Andy Zang (Hannah Kamsheh), of Chesapeake Beach, Md. He additionally leaves behind numerous extended family members, both locally and around the country. A memorial service will held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022, at the Edgeworth Club, 511 E. Drive, Sewickley, PA 15143. All are welcome to attend. Arrangements are entrusted to R. D. COPLEAND LTD. IRVINE CHAPEL, Sewickley.
