Ruth F. Morgan

1932 - 2023

Ruth Francis Morgan, 90, of Forest Hills, passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, in Greensburg. She was the mother of Leonard B. Morgan III (Deborah), of Export, David A. Morgan (Mary), of Pittsburgh, and Ronald F. Morgan (Halee), of Oakland Park, Fla.; grandmother to 13; great-grandmother to 19; many nieces and nephews; and sister of Curtis H. Staab, of Pittsburgh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard B. "Buzz" Morgan Jr.; her daughters, Mary W. Morgan and Curtis Helen Morgan; her parents, Curtis H. and Winifred Kelly Cogswell; and her sisters, Winifred Breisch, Mary Elizabeth Cogswell, Margaret Dillion and Ora Mae Hoetzlein. Ruth was a member of St. Maurice Church in Forest Hills. She was a devout and devoted woman of faith, who lived for her family. WOLFE MEMORIAL LLC, Forest Hills Chapel, 3604 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh PA 15221 handled arrangements. Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, Feb. 24, at St. Maurice Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Burial was in William Penn Cemetery. Ruth's family is grateful for the wonderful care she received from AHN Hospice and The Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Greater Pittsburgh.
